Job summary

Gilmour Space is seeking a Propulsion Engineer I to contribute to the design, analysis and manufacture of propulsion systems at our new facility between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. You will work on engines, fluid systems and GSE, developing CAD models and supporting testing and commissioning efforts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and eligibility for NV1 security clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, analysis & manufacturing of propulsion systems including engines, fluid systems and GSE & infrastructure.
• Develop CAD models and drawings.
• Support commissioning & testing of propulsion systems.
• Assist and develop written procedures and checklists for performing test & commissioning operations, and support test teams as required.
• Assist the development of written procedures for manufacturing components.
• Assist and coordinate the fabrication, assembly and integration of propulsion systems.
• Support the design and testing of propulsion systems including data analysis.
• Perform other duties as requested by Management.
