Job summary

GHD is seeking an experienced Proposal Advisor to join our Pursuits & Proposals team in Queensland on a fixed term contract through October 2027. The role focuses on delivering high-quality proposals, coordinating activities from initiation to submission, and guiding content with technical authors.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years in professional services or corporate environments, strong communication, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite; knowledge of Adobe Creative

Qualifications

• Ability to leverage AI to support daily workflows and improve efficiency
• Experience in professional services or corporate environments is preferred

Responsibilities

• Support proposal activities across Queensland, overseeing the proposal documentation from initiation to submission.
• Develop and manage proposal action plans to maintain focus and timely preparation of submissions.
• Assist with the preparation of proposal presentations.
• Work with technical authors to ensure content is relevant and targeted, providing guidance on structure and responses.
• Contribute to improving and maintaining our internal knowledge database and content library and proposal systems.
• Act as a brand champion to ensure the production of high quality and visually appealing response documents in line with corporate branding.
• Contribute to enhancing bid processes and incorporating lessons learned to continually improve the quality and outcomes of our bidding activity.
• Work collaboratively with Market Leaders, Relationship Managers and key technical staff to support the production of proposals.
• Contribute to special projects and support knowledge management and AI initiatives.
• Provide ‘buddy’ and mentoring support to colleagues in Direct Workshare roles.

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Proposal Advisor to join our team in Queensland. This is a fixed term contract opportunity, anticipated through until October 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality winning proposals and contribute to the success of our Pursuits & Proposals team.

Working with an energetic and high-performing team, you will:

• Support proposal activities across Queensland, overseeing the proposal documentation from initiation to submission.
• Develop and manage proposal action plans to maintain focus and timely preparation of submissions.
• Assist with the preparation of proposal presentations.
• Work with technical authors to ensure content is relevant and targeted, providing guidance on structure and responses.

What you will bring to the team:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar professional services or corporate environment.
• Highly developed communication skills (written and verbal).
• Demonstrated advanced skills with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and ‘for print’ quality graphics and production material (desirable, not essential).
• Ability to leverage AI to support daily workflows and create efficiency.
• Actively learns through experimentation and experience and seeks ways to grow and to be challenged by new and novel conditions.
• Anticipates and prioritises client needs and takes action to provide high-quality outcomes.
