Job summary

AVR Consulting Pty Ltd, based in Brisbane CBD, seeks a Registered Property Valuer to inspect diverse property and infrastructure assets and produce clear, defensible valuation reports for financial reporting and insurance purposes.

You will handle varied assignments across clients in government, not-for-profit, education, healthcare, mining, power and energy sectors, while traveling interstate and occasionally overseas. A strong emphasis on accuracy, autonomy and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• Hold a bachelor's degree in property valuation.
• Be either a Certified Practising Valuer or a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
• Be dependable, positive and confident.
• Be comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of your work.
• Be committed to delivering high-quality service and reports.
• Be collaborative and team focused.
• Be a strong written and verbal communicator.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for financial analysis and Word for report preparation.
• Hold a current Australian driver's licence.
• Be experienced with GIS or keen to develop GIS capability (advantageous, but not essential).

As a Registered Property Valuer with AVR Consulting, you will inspect a wide variety of property and infrastructure assets and prepare clear, defensible valuation reports.

This role offers genuine variety, professional development and the opportunity to build strong client relationships. Regular interstate travel and occasional overseas travel form part of the position.

You will work on interesting, diverse and often unique assignments across financial reporting and insurance purposes for a broad range of property and infrastructure assets, with clients ranging from local organisations to major entities operating across government, not-for-profit, education, healthcare, mining, power and energy, religious, commercial and industrial sectors.
