Job summary

Acendre is seeking an Assistant Manager, Property to provide strategic guidance on the CDPP's property portfolio and workplace environment across CDPP and external providers. You will lead a small team and advise senior executives to ensure a high‑performing, compliant and cost‑effective workplace.

You will influence property strategy, manage risks, and collaborate with government partners to deliver value for money and sustainable outcomes across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Decisive leadership and the ability to provide trusted, strategic advice to senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial and financial judgement with value-for-money stewardship of public resources.
• Ability to identify, assess and manage property, workplace, contractual, financial and operational risks.
• Extensive knowledge of property, facilities or workplace management principles and government requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and make evidence-based decisions in a complex operating environment.
• Firm negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills, including influencing outcomes where priorities differ.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted advice on property, facilities matters, balancing operational requirements, business priorities, financial considerations, risk and government policy.
• Identify emerging issues, develop practical solutions and support senior executives to make well-informed decisions.
