About The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to own and develop the property portfolio, occupancy and workplace strategy across all Allianz Australia sites nationally.

• Own the property portfolio, occupancy and workplace strategy across 17 sites, aligning property decisions with business priorities, workforce requirements and future workplace needs.
• Oversee the outsourced property manager in lease administration including renewals, critical dates, obligations, payments and outgoings reconciliations.
• Lead space planning, using future space demand, occupancy and utilisation data, lease terms and conditions, and occupancy costs to inform strategic recommendations and business cases.
• Oversee the delivery of capital projects including new sites, refurbishments, relocations and consolidations, with end-to-end accountability for scope, budget, risk, schedule, quality and executive approvals.
• Manage financial and commercial performance, including project budgets, forecasts, cost controls, lease commitments and capital expenditure, partnering closely with Finance and external providers.
• Provide strong property governance, risk and stakeholder management, overseeing consultants, contractors and service providers while ensuring health, safety, accessibility, compliance, sustainability and continuous improvement requirements are addressed.

About You

• Demonstrated experience across property strategy as well as corporate real estate, property management or capital works within complex organisations.
• Strong project management experience in site search and selection, fitouts, office relocations or workplace transitions.
• Proven commercial and financial management capability, including overseeing budgets, forecasting, variance reporting, deal analysis and business case preparation.
• Strong vendor, consultant and contractor management, with accountability for scope, timelines, deliverables, commercial outcomes, governance and performance.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data, influence senior stakeholders, manage risks, and ensure health, safety, accessibility and compliance requirements are met.
• A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
