Job summary

Super Retail Group, home to Supercheap Auto, rebel, BCF and Macpac, is seeking a Property Officer to support store portfolio management, coordinating maintenance and facilities services to keep sites safe, compliant and operating efficiently.

Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, you will build strong relationships with stores, landlords and contractors, manage procurement and asset registers, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement across property maintenance and facilities

Qualifications

• Experience in property, facilities or retail environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Manage reactive and preventative maintenance across the property portfolio, ensuring assets are safe, compliant, and well maintained.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance works and contractor engagements, including scoping works and quotes.
• Review maintenance requests and assign ownership in line with lease obligations.
• Respond to critical property incidents, coordinating stakeholders and service providers to minimise disruption and risk.
• Build and maintain relationships with stores, landlords, contractors and suppliers.
• Manage property administration including purchase orders, invoices and vendor setup.
• Monitor compliance with workplace safety, legislative requirements, lease obligations and risk processes.
• Drive continuous improvement across property maintenance, facilities management and safety practices.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, the Property Officer plays a key role in supporting the effective management of Super Retail Group's stores within an allocated portfolio. You'll coordinate maintenance, repairs and facilities services across a range of assets, helping to ensure our sites remain safe, compliant and operating efficiently while contributing to the delivery of team objectives and service standards.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Manage reactive and preventative maintenance across the property portfolio, ensuring assets are safe, compliant, and well maintained.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance works and contractor engagements, including scoping works, obtaining quotes and monitoring delivery.
• Review maintenance requests and assess ownership responsibilities, ensuring works are actioned by the appropriate party in line with lease obligations.
• Respond to critical property incidents, coordinating stakeholders and service providers to minimise operational disruption and safety risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stores, landlords, contractors and suppliers to facilitate effective property management outcomes.
• Manage property administration, including purchase orders, invoices, vendor setup, landlord recoveries and asset register maintenance.
• Monitor and support compliance with workplace safety, legislative requirements, lease obligations and risk management processes.
• Drive continuous improvement across property maintenance, facilities management and safety practices, while supporting store teams with property-related guidance and training.

You bring excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in property, facilities or retail environments will be highly regarded, along with a customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering great outcomes.

• Experience coordinating projects and managing multiple workstreams from planning through to delivery.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise systems, with confidence managing data and financial administration.
• Experience in facilities, property, or retail environments, with exposure to corporate facilities management highly regarded.
