Gough Recruitment is partnering with a boutique agency in Melbourne’s northern suburbs to recruit an experienced Property Manager. This role offers autonomy, flexible hours and the chance to grow with the business as it expands.

You will manage an established portfolio, build relationships with landlords and tenants, and play a key part in the ongoing success of a growing team. Competitive salary with superannuation and strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years residential Property Management experience.
• End-to-end portfolio management experience.
• Victorian Agent's Representative Certificate required.
• Confident handling of VCAT matters and tenancy management.
• Strong communication, organizational and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage an established portfolio of ~50 residential properties.
• Build strong relationships with rental providers and renters.
• Conduct routine inspections, ingoing and outgoing inspections.
• Manage maintenance, arrears, lease renewals and day-to-day portfolio needs.
• Coordinate leasing activities and oversee tenancy lifecycle.
• Handle VCAT matters with guidance from leadership.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow the rent roll.
• Contribute to growth and success of the business.

THE ROLE

• Managing an established portfolio of approximately 50 residential properties
• Building strong relationships with rental providers and renters

• Coordinating leasing activities and overseeing the tenancy lifecycle
• Handling VCAT matters, with guidance from the Director where required
• Identifying new business opportunities and growing the rent roll

About You

We’re seeking an established Property Manager who enjoys working autonomously, building relationships and contributing to a growing business.

You'll ideally have:

• At least 3 years residential Property Management experience.
• Experience managing an end-to-end portfolio.
• A current Victorian Agent's Representative Certificate.
• Confidence handling VCAT matters and tenancy management.
• Strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.
• A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
