Job summary

Place Kangaroo Point is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our established team in Brisbane. You will manage a residential portfolio of 50–60 properties, lead leasing activities, and proactively generate new management opportunities while cultivating strong landlord and contractor relationships.

You will work with the Head of Property Management in a supportive environment, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum residential Property Management experience
• Experience generating new business and securing managements
• Current Queensland Real Estate Registration Certificate
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong knowledge of Queensland tenancy legislation and PM compliance
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management
• Commitment to building strong client relationships
• Available to work Saturdays (Tue–Sat preferred)

Responsibilities

• Manage an initial residential portfolio of ~50–60 properties.
• Take primary responsibility for leasing: open homes, applications, tenants.
• Generate new business opportunities and secure PM agreements.
• Build lasting relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, inspections, and property matters.
• Manage rental arrears, lease renewals and compliance.
• Ensure documentation, reporting and adherence to legislation.
• Identify opportunities to grow portfolio through new business.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced Property Manager who takes ownership, communicates confidently and enjoys the relationship-building and growth side of property management.

To be successful, you'll bring:

• Previous experience in residential Property Management, with strong leasing experience and ability to manage a portfolio independently.
• Experience generating new business, conducting appraisals and securing new managements, or a strong desire to develop these skills.
• A current Queensland Real Estate Registration Certificate.
• A valid driver's licence.
• Strong knowledge of Queensland tenancy legislation and property management compliance.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• A genuine commitment to building strong client relationships and contributing to a positive team culture.
• Availability to work Saturdays, with Tuesday to Saturday preferred. Flexibility around the weekday off may be available for the right candidate.
