Job summary

Value NSW is seeking a Data Steward to support governance, accuracy and documentation of property data across the organisation. This role focuses on strengthening data quality, transparency and compliance while collaborating with multiple teams.

You will be part of the Property Analytics function, contributing to a data-driven culture and ensuring records and registers are well-maintained for government purposes.

Qualifications

• Apply data governance principles and data management practices in a practical and organised way.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation and data registers with strong attention to detail.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across a range of business areas to support data quality and governance outcomes.
• Analyse information, identify issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge, skills or experience in data governance, including maintaining key data assets.
• Experience profiling data and supporting data mapping or data catalogue activities.
• Knowledge of whole-of-government data policies.
• Experience using SQL or similar database management tools.
