Gumbuya World in Victoria is seeking Property Cleaners to join our Property Services team. The role is casual, reflecting seasonal activity, with shifts that include mornings, afternoons and full days during peak periods.

Successful applicants must be flexible for weekends and holidays and to keep our park and facilities clean, safe and welcoming for guests throughout the day.

Qualifications

• A current Working with Children Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the park for opening, including cleaning and presentation duties
• Cleaning and maintaining guest areas, tables and outdoor spaces
• Emptying bins and ensuring waste areas remain clean and presentable
• Picking up litter and keeping pathways and public areas spotless
• Cleaning amenities and other guest facilities
• Supporting the cleanliness and presentation of cafés and dining areas
• Using cleaning equipment, including pressure washers and other equipment where required
• Assisting with basic grounds and presentation tasks
• Supporting traffic and car parking operations during busy periods
• Identifying and reporting cleaning, maintenance or safety concerns
• Helping wherever needed to keep the park clean, safe and welcoming throughout the day

Gumbuya World is Victoria's only theme park with rides, water attractions, wildlife and adventure experiences all in one destination. We're seeking Property Cleaners to join our Property Services team and help keep our park, facilities and infrastructure operating safely, efficiently and looking their best.

We are looking to recruit for the following position:

Property Cleaner

All Property Cleaning positions are offered on a casual basis, reflecting the seasonal nature and changing trading days of our business. Start dates and the frequency of shifts may vary depending on operational requirements.

Successful applicants will need flexibility to work across our peak periods, including weekends, school holidays and public holidays.

We offer a variety of shifts, including morning, afternoon and full-day shifts, making the role a great option for students, working parents and anyone looking for flexible casual work.

What do you need?

Keeping a theme park looking its best is a big job, and our Property Cleaning team plays an important part in creating a safe, clean and enjoyable experience for every guest.

All team members require:

• A current Working with Children Check, Employee type (team members under 18 are exempt)

A typical day in the Property Cleaning team

No two days are quite the same. Depending on your shift, you may be:
