Job summary

Dreamworld on the Gold Coast is seeking enthusiastic, fun-loving General Cleaners to join our team. You will uphold cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across the park, rides, facilities and equipment, with shifts from pre-opening to night trading and events.

You’ll work as part of a hands-on team, demonstrate reliability, and adapt to a 7-day rotating schedule including weekends and school holidays. A valid manual driver’s license and experience with cleaning equipment are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate well developed communication, customer service and teamwork skills.
• Be a hands-on team player with a positive can-do approach to work tasks.
• Have proven reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
• Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts between 5 AM and 1 AM, including weekends and school holidays on a 7-day rotating schedule.
• Manual handling and physical dexterity for demanding tasks.
• Experience with cleaning equipment (floor polishers, industrial sweepers, pressure cleaners) and a valid manual driver's license is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards of the park, rides, facilities and equipment.
• Shift coverage includes pre-opening, in-park tasks during operating hours, and evening/night shifts for events and markets.
• Work as part of the Cleaning team under the Cleaning Manager.

Reporting to the Cleaning Manager, the main duty of a General Cleaner is to uphold the overall cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards of the park, its rides, facilities, and equipment. Our cleaning team operates on a variety of shifts, which include pre-opening responsibilities, in-park tasks during operating hours, as well as evening shifts for night trading, the Dreamworld Night Markets, and special events.

To be considered for this role you must:

• Demonstrate a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail;

• Have proven reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
• Have flexible availability who can work a variety of shifts between 5 AM and 1 AM, including weekends, school holidays, and peak seasons, as part of a 7-day rotating schedule.
• Manual handling, so physical dexterity and the ability to carry out physically demanding tasks are essential requirements.
• Experience with cleaning equipment such as floor polishers, industrial sweepers, and pressure
  cleaners, along with a valid manual driver’s license, will be highly regarded.
