Job summary

CBRE in Sydney is seeking a Property Accountant to support Casual Mall Leasing across invoicing, reconciliations, debtors, reporting and revenue tracking. You will collaborate with leasing, centre and finance teams, ensuring accurate licence records and robust financial processes.

You’ll grow through exposure to Retail Experience Leasing and licence agreements, building your knowledge of leasing activity and the finance behind it while contributing to month-end reporting and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Experience in property accounting or property finance.
• Proven ability with invoicing, reconciliations, debtors or financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to learn systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue invoices for licence agreements across multi-site and national arrangements.
• Reconcile transactions, bookings and billings; assist with unallocated funds tracking.
• Prepare weekly debtor reporting and support arrears follow-up with sales and centre teams.
• Assist with month-end reporting, revenue tracking, variance analysis, budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain licence records, databases and financial systems.
• Address day-to-day finance queries from stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Retail Leasing Executives, centre teams, finance teams and national partners.
• Support audit requirements and improvements to finance processes.
