Project Support Officer – Lithgow NSW

Who We Are

Zinfra is a leading partner in the design, build, operation and maintenance of Australia’s energy and utilities infrastructure. Delivering an annual portfolio of more than $1.2 billion, our work helps keep energy flowing safely and reliably to communities across Australia while supporting the nation’s energy transition.

With a workforce of more than 2,800 people, we deliver complex infrastructure, asset management and field services across Australia’s east coast. Our people draw on deep industry experience, an unwavering commitment to safety, and practical innovation to deliver the right outcomes for our clients and communities.

We're looking for an organised, collaborative and proactive Project Support Officer to join our Project Delivery team.

This is a role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to busy environments, building strong working relationships, and helping others succeed. You'll become a trusted member of the team, providing the coordination and support that enables our projects to run smoothly from start to finish.

If you enjoy variety, take pride in being highly organised, and find satisfaction in helping people achieve shared goals, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

Working closely with Project Managers, field teams and corporate support functions, you'll be at the centre of our project operations. You'll coordinate administration, procurement, documentation and communications, ensuring our teams have what they need to deliver successful outcomes safely and efficiently.

This is a varied role where your attention to detail, initiative and ability to build positive relationships will make a genuine difference every day.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll support our project teams by:

  • Coordinating project administration and day-to-day operational support
  • Organising travel, site amenities, deliveries and fleet requirements
  • Maintaining project records, compliance documentation and timesheets
  • Assisting with SAP transactions including purchase requisitions, goods receipts, invoices and expense claims
  • Supporting procurement activities and maintaining vendor compliance
  • Preparing reports, registers, meeting minutes and project documentation
  • Coordinating meetings, toolbox talks and project communications
  • Managing document control and ensuring accurate project records
  • Supporting Project Managers with reporting, budgeting and project systems
  • Building positive relationships with internal stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers while responding to project enquiries
  • About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy supporting others, staying organised and creating order in busy environments.

    You’ll bring:

    • Experience in a Project Support, Project Administration or similar coordination role
    • Experience working within project-based environments (utilities, construction or infrastructure experience is highly regarded)
    • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
    • Experience using SAP or similar enterprise systems
    • An understanding of procurement and project administration processes
    • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
    • The ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining calm and adaptable
    • A collaborative approach and the confidence to build trusted relationships across different teams
    • Strong communication skills and a willingness to take initiative

We champion and value diversity in life and work experiences, because broader perspectives strengthen our problem solving, decision making and ability to innovate.
