Job summary

Client is seeking experienced Project and Senior Project Managers to support delivery of a major hyperscale data centre development in Australia. The role requires proven construction delivery experience on large-scale mission-critical infrastructure, with direct involvement in hyperscale data centre builds.

Candidates must have previously worked for a construction company and hands-on project delivery experience in hyperscale data centres, either in Australia or internationally, and be capable

Qualifications

• Must have worked previously for a construction company.
• Must have delivered hyperscale data centre construction projects.
• Experience managing large contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong knowledge of programme management, cost control, risk, and reporting.
• Experience across MEP, electrical, cooling, power, and technical infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery across hyperscale data centre construction workstreams.
• Manage construction programmes, milestones, risks, dependencies, and site progress.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and client representatives.
• Drive project execution across civil, structural, MEP, and fit-out interfaces.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, commercially, and to specification.
• Monitor cost, quality, schedule, procurement, and change control requirements.
• Support reporting, stakeholder updates, governance meetings, and escalation management.
• Identify delivery risks early and implement practical recovery actions.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, construction codes, and client expectations.
• Maintain strong site discipline, documentation control, and contractor accountability.
• Support commissioning, handover, defects management, and operational readiness activities.

• Ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced, high‑pressure construction environments.


• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem‑solving capability.


• Relevant degree or trade background in construction, engineering, or project management preferred.


• Australian project experience is advantageous but not essential.
