Job summary

The National Measurement Institute (NMI) invites applications for a Project Scientist - CRM, S&T Level 4. Based in Sydney, NSW, the role supports the analysis and re-certification of certified reference materials, contributing to internationally recognized reference materials for anti-doping, forensic and environmental testing.

You will perform stability testing, data analysis and report writing under supervision, with opportunities to assist in method development and quality system

Qualifications

• Knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques including GC/LC and related methods.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and quality control in a lab.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 quality frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Perform stability trials and analytical testing using established methods.
• Record, verify, and interpret analytical data with traceability and quality control.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and assist with method validation and continuous improvement.
