Job summary

Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions is seeking a Project Officer with Apprenticeships Victoria in Morwell, Victoria. This fixed-term role supports initiatives to create more job opportunities for apprentices and trainees, reporting to the Priority Apprenticeships Manager, Gippsland.

You will contribute to policy implementation, project management, and collaboration with Victorian Government agencies, employers, and the training system.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, problem-solving and project management skills are essential.
• Ability to develop and manage systems that support project monitoring and evaluation.
• A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist administrative and corporate support expertise.
• Prepare reports, briefs and correspondence on complex issues at program or organisational level.
• Develop and implement operational communication and consultation strategies for specific projects.
• Prepare project scopes and briefs within broad parameters.
• Draft reports and recommendations by interpreting and analysing data.
