Job summary

World Fuel is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to manage storage, inventory accuracy, and procurement support for major projects in Brisbane. This hands-on role ensures materials and equipment are available when needed, coordinating with project teams, suppliers, and operations to maintain stock integrity.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in warehousing or logistics, strong inventory controls, and experience with project environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in stores, warehousing, materials management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in project-driven environments such as Defence, Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, or Heavy Industry.
• Experience loading/unloading trucks and shipping containers.
• Strong inventory control and warehouse management experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store, and issue materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
• Coordinate the movement of materials between warehouse, project, and operational locations.
• Support procurement activities including expediting and supplier coordination.
• Assist with domestic and international shipments.
