Job summary

Tradetech Services Australia seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead underground electrical infrastructure projects from handover to completion across Victoria. You will coordinate civil works, manage programs and budgets, and liaise with clients and network stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, site supervision support, and familiarity with Victorian network requirements, with a White Card and relevant civil/electrical experience.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience delivering civil works on electricity distribution networks.
• Strong understanding of underground electrical infrastructure including trenching, conduits, pits and cable installation interfaces.
• Experience coordinating works around existing underground services and live electrical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Victorian electricity network requirements and VESI safety and accreditation requirements.
• Strong construction planning, financial management and contract administration skills.
• Confident leadership and clear communication with field crews, clients and network stakeholders.
• White Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of civil works for underground electricity distribution infrastructure.
• Plan and coordinate excavation, trenching, conduit and pit installation, cable hauling support and reinstatement.
• Develop and manage construction programs, budgets, forecasts and project risks.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors across multiple sites.
• Liaise with clients, electricity network representatives, councils and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate service locating, non-destructive digging and controls for works around existing underground services.
• Ensure works meet project specifications, network requirements and safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Manage variations, progress claims, contract requirements and commercial risks.
• Oversee inspections, project records and handover documentation.
• Lead and support Site Supervisors and engineers to maintain safe, productive field operations.

The Role

You’ll manage the civil delivery of underground power network projects, including trenching, conduit and pit installation, cable hauling support, backfilling and reinstatement.

Working closely with Site Supervisors, engineers, field crews and network stakeholders, you’ll coordinate multiple work fronts and deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

About You
