Qualifications

What you'll be doing

• Taking full delivery ownership of two concurrent transmission line construction projects
• Leading the assembly, erection and stringing of transmission towers and gantry structures, keeping crews safe, productive and on program.
• Owning the commercial side — budgets, forecasting, variance reporting and cost control on multi-million dollar contracts.
• Building strong relationships with clients, network owners, consultants and subcontractors, and representing Catalpa at the table.
• Championing a safety-first culture, particularly around electrical safety, working at heights and plant/crane operations.
• Mentoring project engineers and site teams, and growing capability across the business as we scale.

What you'll bring

• Runs on the board managing transmission, energy, construction, A&E or stringing projects — ideally on high-voltage overhead transmission line (OHTL) works.
• A qualification in Civil, Electrical or Structural Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent — or the runs on the board to match.
• PMP, AIPM or similar project management credentials highly regarded.
• Sharp commercial acumen and the confidence to manage multiple concurrent projects without missing a beat.
• The people skills to influence, negotiate and build trust with clients, network owners and your own crews alike.
