Job summary

Turner & Townsend Australia is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex building services projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and work closely with clients to ensure value, quality, and timely outcomes across all project stages.

The role emphasizes defining success criteria, governance, risk management, procurement coordination, and rigorous financial oversight within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering field or project management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management who can deliver projects autonomously with senior support.

Responsibilities

• Establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, and performance parameters.
• Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment issues on projects.
• Identify and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish effective project governance, processes and systems.
• Prepare and maintain the detailed project plan.
• Advise on procurement of contractors and consultants.
• Coordinate with the cross-functional project team.
• Manage the change control process.
• Monitor and advise on project finances.
• Facilitate information flow between team and client via meetings and reports.
• Produce formal project progress and other reports.
• Lead interfacing with the client and other consultants at all stages.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication of key client requirements.
• Deliver full-cycle building services project delivery from feasibility to handover (HVAC, Electrical, etc.).

Job Description

• Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
• Planning and managing quality, safety, health and environment issues on projects.
• Risk identification and management.
• Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project.
• Project planning, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan.
• Advising upon the procurement of contractors and consultants.
• Co-ordinating with the overall cross-functional project team.
• Managing the change control process.
• Monitoring and advising upon project finances.
• Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
• Ensuring the production of formal project progress and other reports.
• Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
• Strong stakeholder management, understanding client key requirements and communicating/reporting accordingly.
• Able to manage full cycle project delivery of technical building services projects (ie, HVAC, Electrification, Chillers, Electrical/Mechanical etc) from the feasibility to delivery and handover.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering field or project management, or relevant industry experience in building services and construction (Builder, Contract administration, Electrical, HVAC, Security, BMS, Fire, Hydraulic, etc).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management who can deliver projects autonomously with senior support
