Job summary

Komatsu is seeking an experienced Rebuilds Project Manager to lead complex rebuild, repair and equipment projects from planning through final delivery. In this customer-facing role, youbll collaborate with customers, engineering, operations, supply chain and production to ensure safety, quality and performance objectives are met.

You will coordinate across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production and Sales, driving continuous improvement and managing risks to deliver commercially

Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering projects within manufacturing, mining, engineering or heavy industry environments.
  • Strong customer and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget and risk.
  • The ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive accountability.
  • Working knowledge of project management systems and ERP platforms such as SAP.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with major equipment rebuilds, maintenance or OEM environments will be highly regarded.
  • Exposure to underground mining equipment or Joy product knowledge is advantageous.

  • Manage end-to-end project delivery across rebuilds, repairs and selected OEM projects.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts and resource plans.
  • Monitor project scope, costs, risks and delivery milestones.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Lead customer communications and provide regular project updates.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues and delivery challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and operational standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Overview

We\'re looking for an experiencedRebuilds Project Managerto join our Mining Products team, leading complex rebuild, repair and equipment projects from initial planning through to final delivery.

In this highly visible customer-facing role, you\'ll work closely with customers, engineering, operations, supply chain and production teams to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes while ensuring commercial, schedule and performance objectives are achieved.

What Makes This Role Unique?

You\'ll be at the centre of major underground mining equipment projects, coordinating stakeholders across the business and acting as the key link between customers and delivery teams.

You\'ll:

  • Lead complex rebuild and repair projects from pre-contract through to delivery
  • Work directly with customers to manage expectations, risks and project outcomes
  • Coordinate activity across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production and Sales
  • Play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient and commercially successful projects
  • Influence decision-making and drive continuous improvement across project delivery
