Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Manager to act as the key client interface, overseeing complex projects across health, infrastructure or related sectors in Australia. You will manage diverse stakeholders, drive projects to successful completion, and help shape future programme strategies.

The role requires 3–5 years of project management experience, strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to delivering client outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Required degree in a technical field related to project management, architecture, construction management, engineering or cost management.
  • 3 to 5 years of project management experience (consultancy or client side preferred).
  • Strong ability to lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage projects and programmes as the key client interface.
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Develop working relationships, solve problems and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Manage multiple project budgets and advise on options to keep budgets on track.
  • Oversee project delivery across multiple projects and programmes to meet client requirements.
  • Review project plans, schedules, costs-saving measures and potential construction issues.
  • Manage timelines, risks and reporting.
  • Chair project meetings with clients and consultants.
  • Analyse and define future programme and portfolio strategies.
  • Engage in marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Drive business outcomes alongside project outcomes.

Job Description
  • To Support and managing projects and programs as the key client interface
  • Managing complex and diverse stakeholder relationships
  • Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion
  • Managing multiple project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track
  • Managing the project delivery process across multiple projects and programmes to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations
  • Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
  • Managing project timelines, risks and reporting
  • Chairing project meetings with clients and consultants
  • Analysing and defining future programme and portfolio strategies
  • Being engaged with marketing and business development initiatives
  • Driving business outcomes alongside project outcomes.
Qualifications
  • A recognised Degree or equivalent qualification relating to a technical field: Project Management, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, Cost Management
  • 3 to 5 years of Project Management experience (consultancy or client side preferred)
  • Experience in the health sector is a , with experience in brownfield, live construction, and or mental health facility advantageous
  • Existing Australian workrights is ideal.
  • Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Technical ability to lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly a command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client.
