Job summary

Marble Group in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial and civil construction projects from start to finish. You will lead diverse teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure safety and quality on site.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication with clients and suppliers, and hands-on use of PM software such as Aroflo, Procore, Acconex, and MS Office. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in project management within construction.
• Trade-qualified plumber with QBCC license.
• Strong leadership and staff training abilities.
• Experience coordinating 6–12 projects concurrently.
• Knowledge of safety paperwork and site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple construction projects from initiation to handover.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Proven experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically in hydraulic, fire, or civil trades
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and train staff
• Excellent planning, organisation, and coordination skills to oversee 6-12 projects simultaneously
• Expertise in managing budgets, timelines, and ensuring quality standards are met
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams
• Proficiency in project management software such as Aroflo, Procore, Acconex, and Microsoft Office
• Sound knowledge of relevant building codes, legislation, environment policies, and safety standards

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CRM systems and reporting
• Additional trade qualifications or certifications related to plumbing or construction
• Prior leadership roles in larger construction projects
• Knowledge of safety paperwork including SWMS, SDS, permits, and rescue plans

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Trade-qualified plumber with valid QBCC license
• Certificate III in Plumbing & Drainage or equivalent
• Minimum of 3+ years in project management within the construction sector

Other Requirements:

• Valid construction safety card
• Ability to work in varied environments and perform physically demanding activities such as heavy lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environmentWillingness to participate in safety inductions and adhere to site-specific procedures
