Job summary

AGL Energy Limited is seeking a Project Manager to lead the rehabiltation of the Liddell Power Station site in New South Wales. The role focuses on delivering safe, responsible remediation across a high-profile, multi-year program, coordinating with government, regulators and internal teams.

You'll manage remediation planning, risk, budgets and reporting to senior stakeholders, while building trusted relationships with multiple external and internal partners and delivering outcomes on time and

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering complex projects within infrastructure, environmental, rehabilitation, remediation, construction or related industries.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and contract administration.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes across government, regulatory, contractor and internal stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, commercial and communication skills.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and the confidence to navigate complex environments while delivering outcomes safely, on time and within budget.
  • Relevant qualifications in project management, engineering, environmental management or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

About the role

As we continue Australia's energy transition, we're seeking a Project Manager to help deliver the safe and responsible rehabilitation of the former Liddell Power Station site. This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile, multi-year program, and play a critical role in the rehabilitation of the former Liddell Power Station site.
