About the role

You will act as the key point of contact between AGL, government agencies, project stakeholders and internal business units, ensuring AGL's obligations are met while minimising impacts to operations and delivering positive outcomes for the business.

What you will be doing

As the Interface Manager, you will lead and coordinate activities associated with AGL's obligations under the Hunter Transmission Project land acquisition agreements, ensuring the continued efficient operation of Bayswater Power Station.

  • Coordinating information requests, scopes of work and specialist services required under project agreements
  • Leading implementation activities including site communications, access protocols, procedural changes and operational adjustments
  • Managing project-related budgets, procurement activities, resource planning and reporting
  • Building strong relationships across government agencies, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders
  • Promoting a strong culture of safety, compliance and operational excellence across all project activities
What you will bring

To succeed in this role, you'll be a confident leader with exceptional stakeholder management capability and experience working within industrial, infrastructure, energy or government-related projects.

  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating complex project interfaces
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills across diverse groups
  • Experience working within power generation, electrical transmission, major infrastructure or complex industrial environments
  • Proven contract administration, project governance and cost management capability
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Business, Legal Studies or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and facilitation skills
  • Commercial acumen and ability to balance competing stakeholder priorities
At AGL, we offer a wide range of benefits including:

  • Access 20 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary carer.
  • Access to an additional week of recharge leave per year.
  • Play an active role in our diversity & inclusion initiatives.
