Job summary

TCB Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an established Perth landscape construction business delivering high-end residential projects, from new builds to renovations.

Reporting to the owner, you will oversee 10–12 concurrent sites across Perth, lead two construction teams and coordinate subcontractors to deliver premium finishes on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of landscape construction experience with delivery focus.
• Experience leading crews and coordinating multiple active sites.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to manage expectations.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and site contours.
• Practical leadership style with clear communication and follow-through.
• White Card and WA driver’s licence in good standing; Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Plan works and coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, plant and deliveries.
• Lead Leading Hands, Trades Assistants and construction teams.
• Manage relationships with private clients, builders and other trades.
• Read drawings and specifications; check levels and quality standards.
• Monitor budgets, schedules and productivity; manage variations.
• Maintain safe sites and drive project completion to handover.
• Provide clear updates to the owner and assist on-site when required.

Your role

Reporting directly to the owner, you will oversee approximately 10–12 concurrent residential landscape projects across Perth, leading two construction teams and coordinating subcontractors.

You will combine practical construction knowledge with strong organisation and people leadership to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to a premium finish.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning works and coordinating crews, subcontractors, materials, plant and deliveries.
• Leading and supporting Leading Hands, Trades Assistants and construction teams.
• Managing relationships with private clients, builders and other trades.
• Reading drawings and specifications, checking site levels and maintaining quality standards.
• Monitoring budgets, schedules and productivity, resolving issues and identifying variations before additional work proceeds.
• Maintaining safe sites and driving practical completion, defect resolution and handover.
• Providing clear updates to the owner and assisting on the tools when required.

What you’ll bring

• At least five years’ landscape construction experience, with a background in project delivery rather than maintenance alone.
• Experience leading crews and coordinating multiple active sites or projects.
• Confidence dealing directly with private clients and managing expectations.
• The ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, levels and contours.
• A practical, approachable leadership style with strong communication and follow-through.
• A Construction White Card and current WA driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Full Australian working rights. Visa sponsorship is unavailable.
• A Certificate III in Landscape Construction or equivalent practical experience is desirable. BuildXact or similar software experience, familiarity with OneDrive, a forklift ticket or an MR/HR licence would also be advantageous.
