Job summary

RP Infrastructure is seeking a Project Manager to join our Victorian infrastructure team in Melbourne. The role covers client-side delivery from planning through to construction, coordinating design consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams while managing scope, budgets and schedules.

You’ll bring experience in delivering infrastructure projects (rail, water, civil) and familiarity with procurement, tendering and contract administration.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering infrastructure projects, with rail, water or broader civil infrastructure experience highly valued.
• Background in client-side, consultancy or contractor project management.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing consultants, contractors and project risks.

About the Opportunity Due to continued growth, we’re seeking a Project Manager to join our Victorian infrastructure team. We’re open to permanent full-time or contract arrangements.

Working in a client-side capacity, you’ll help guide infrastructure projects from planning and design through to construction and completion. You’ll work closely with clients, consultants and contractors, combining practical delivery skills with strong stakeholder relationships.

• Managing project scope, budgets, schedules, risks and reporting.
• Coordinating design consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Supporting procurement, tendering and contract administration.
• Overseeing delivery against safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Building trusted client relationships and keeping stakeholders informed throughout delivery.

About You

You’re a collaborative Project Manager who takes ownership, communicates clearly and enjoys working through the challenges of infrastructure delivery.

You’ll bring:

• Experience delivering infrastructure projects, with rail, water or broader civil infrastructure experience highly valued.
• A background in client-side, consultancy or contractor project management.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing consultants, contractors and project risks.
• Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Willingness to travel between the office and project sites, with flexibility to work from home as project requirements allow.
