Job summary

The Tasmanian contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team and lead end-to-end delivery across industrial electrical projects on the North West Coast.

Reporting to the Electrical Manager, you will manage planning through to completion, coordinate electricians and subcontractors, monitor budgets and claims, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery across multiple sites.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience delivering industrial electrical projects.
  • Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and manage site teams.
  • Sound budgeting and project financial management.
  • Experience managing progress claims, variations and contract administration.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and quality.
  • Current Electrical Workers Licence.
  • Construction White Card.
  • Current Driver Licence.
  • Experience within industrial environments and exposure to complex electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple electrical projects from planning through to completion.
  • Lead electricians, apprentices and subcontractors.

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded Tasmanian contractor with a strong presence across industrial and commercial projects. With continued growth and a healthy pipeline of upcoming work throughout the North West Coast, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team and play a key role in the successful delivery of projects across the region.

Your new role

Reporting to the Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of industrial electrical projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and within budget.

  • Managing multiple electrical projects from planning through to completion
  • Leading and coordinating electricians, apprentices and subcontractors
  • Monitoring project budgets, forecasts and financial performance
  • Preparing and managing variations, claims and contract administration activities
  • Providing on-site leadership and ensuring quality project outcomes
  • Managing subcontractor performance and stakeholder relationships
  • Producing project reports including cost-to-complete forecasts, labour planning and cash flow projections
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant safety standards, regulations and company procedures
