Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to oversee projects from bidding through to completion on a site in Beaudesert, QLD. The role requires strong knowledge of steel construction processes and the ability to manage multiple tasks within a small team.

The successful candidate will prepare estimates, bid packages and proposals, and coordinate with workshop and installation teams to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

• Experience in project management for steel construction projects.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and drawings
• Source and prepare cost estimates, bid packages and proposals
• Analyse labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• Manage project from award to completion
• Track RFI's, change orders, schedules and budgets
• Co-ordinate with the workshop and installation manager, subcontractors, and clients
• Conduct site visits and monitor progress

About You

• Strong knowledge of steel construction processes and materials
• Proficiency with Word & Excel (essential)
• Knowledge of fabrication drawing programs (desirable)
• Ability to multitask to deliver projects under tight deadlines
• Excellent written, verbal communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work autonomously and within a small team
