Job summary

RP Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Brisbane‑based Education team. You will lead education, tertiary, science or laboratory projects from planning through construction, coordinating consultants, contractors and stakeholders to deliver outcomes for students and educators.

You’ll work with a national team on live environments, manage budgets and timelines, and build trusted client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering education projects across schools, universities or tertiary facilities.
• Experience delivering science or laboratory buildings is highly valued.
• Client-side, consultancy, contractor or construction PM experience required.
• Ability to manage projects in live environments with complex stakeholders.
• Strong communication, organisation and delivery skills are essential.

• Oversee budgets, programmes, risks, reporting and governance.

About the Opportunity

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of education projects, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Brisbane‑based Education team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a project professional with experience delivering education, tertiary, science, research or laboratory projects to join a leading client‑side consultancy and work on projects that create meaningful outcomes for students, educators, researchers and the wider community.

You will work alongside an experienced national team, managing projects from planning and design through to construction and completion. Experience delivering projects within live or operational environments will be particularly valuable, where careful planning, stakeholder engagement and minimising disruption are critical to successful delivery.

As a Project Manager, you will:

• Lead the delivery of projects from planning through to completion.
• Manage consultants, contractors, procurement and project stakeholders.
• Oversee project budgets, programmes, risks, reporting and governance.
• Manage contract administration and construction phase activities.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.

A little more about You

You’re an experienced Project Manager who enjoys delivering complex projects and working closely with clients, consultants and contractors. You’ll bring:

• Education project experience across schools, universities, TAFEs, tertiary or research facilities.
• Experience delivering science, laboratory or technically complex building projects is highly valued.
• Client‑side, consultancy, contractor or construction project management experience.
• Experience delivering projects in live or operational environments with complex stakeholder requirements.
• Relevant qualifications and strong communication, organisation and project delivery skills.

We’re also open to Project Managers from other complex building sectors who bring strong transferable experience and an interest in education project delivery.
