Direct Couriers Pty Ltd is seeking a standout Project Manager to join its premium Direct Sensitive service. You will plan, coordinate and execute large-scale, high-value freight deliveries across Melbourne and beyond, ensuring strict chain of custody and on-time completion.

This role requires 3+ years in project management within a premium or B2B freight environment, immaculate presentation, and strong communication with delivery apps and clients.

Qualifications

• Pass National Police Check (criminal history clearance).
• Full right to work in Australia.
• Minimum 3 years of Project Management, ideally in a sensitive, premium or B2B freight environment.
• Immaculate personal presentation.
• Demonstrated experience handling high-value or sensitive cargo with strict chain of custody adherence.
• Comfortable operating within secured facilities, data centres, and restricted-access corporate sites.
• Strong communication skills and confidence with proof of delivery apps and electronic consignment systems.
• Willingness to undergo ongoing background verification as required by clients.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and someone who takes genuine pride in the quality of their work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale, project-style freight deliveries for clients.
• Identify locations, timelines, access, and prepare vehicles, drivers and equipment before the job starts.
• Direct drivers, monitor progress in real time, and on-site problem solving as needed.
• Keep drivers, managers, and customers informed at every stage and provide post-job reporting.

Direct Sensitive is our premium, white-glove freight service, built for clients who can't afford for anything to go wrong. We move high-value, confidential, and security-sensitive freight across Melbourne, and we're looking for a standout Project Manager to join the team.

The Project Manager, Direct Sensitive plans, coordinates, and executes large-scale, project-style freight deliveries for our clients. These complex, multi-leg jobs demand a higher level of organisation, communication, and oversight than a standard delivery run.

You'll ensure every location is identified and prepared in advance, deliveries are completed correctly and on time, and drivers, managers, and senior customer contacts stay informed at every stage, owning each project from planning through to completion.

What will you be doing?

• Planning and readiness: confirming job requirements, locations, timelines, and access, and making sure vehicles, drivers, and equipment are locked in before the job starts.
• Live job management: directing drivers, tracking progress in real time, and stepping in on-site to solve problems as they come up.
• Communication and sign-off: keeping drivers, managers, and customers informed at every stage, then confirming completion and reporting once the job's done.
