Job summary

Ikg Talent is partnering with a globally recognised data centre developer, owner and operator to appoint a Project Manager for Sydney. You will own end-to-end delivery of construction projects, from inception through practical completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery to the highest safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors and senior stakeholders to keep fast-moving projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' project management experience in building/construction.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management with clear communication.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously across all phases of delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans with timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, subcontractors and consultants to meet specifications.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess status, quality, and safety compliance.
• Prepare and present project reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage risk registers and mitigation strategies.
• Act as the central point of communication to keep stakeholders aligned.

About the Role

This is a critical delivery-focused role for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of construction projects across the Sydney market. You will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery - from inception through to practical completion - ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

You will work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and senior stakeholders, playing a central role in keeping complex, fast-moving projects aligned and on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously across all phases of delivery
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams, subcontractors, and specialist consultants to ensure specifications are met

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' project management experience within the building and construction industry
• A demonstrated track record of delivering construction projects on time and within budget
• Strong working knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and regulatory requirements
• Confident leadership and stakeholder management skills, with clear and effective communication at all levels
• Proficiency in project management tools and software
