Job summary

Crossmuller is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of complex data centre, infrastructure and building services projects across Australia.

You'll manage projects from planning through to handover, coordinate builders, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams, while overseeing budgets, risks and stakeholder management to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large construction or data centre projects.
• Strong contractual, commercial negotiation and risk management skills.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control and reporting.

Job description

Crossmuller is growing and we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex data centre, infrastructure and building services projects.

From hyperscale data centres and mission‑critical facilities through to advanced manufacturing plants and industrial infrastructure, you'll take ownership of projects from initial planning through to final handover, ensuring exceptional outcomes for clients while driving commercial and operational success.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a highly capable team delivering some of Australia's most challenging and exciting projects.

As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading project delivery across all phases, coordinating builders, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and internal delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You'll be the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing contractual obligations, commercial negotiations, project budgets, variations, risks and overall project performance.

This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys balancing technical project delivery with strong commercial and stakeholder management.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience managing large‑scale construction, infrastructure or data centre projects
• Strong understanding of project contracts, commercial negotiations and risk management
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, cost control and reporting
• Demonstrated success administering variations, claims and contractual requirements
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including builders, engineers, subcontractors and clients
• Strong leadership skills with experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
• Excellent planning, scheduling and project delivery capability
• Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills
• Experience delivering electrical, controls, automation or building services projects
• Understanding of mission‑critical environments and data centre operations
• Relevant Project Management, Engineering or Construction qualifications
