Job summary

Seek Group’s client, a well-established commercial builder in Western Sydney, is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery on a new commercial build. The role is office-based with close collaboration to Directors, and involves procurement, cost control, client reporting and handover.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering/Construction Management and 3+ years as a Contracts Administrator or Project Engineer with a head contractor, plus strong communication and

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• At least 3 years’ experience as Contracts Administrator or Project Engineer with a head contractor.
• Experience in commercial or residential construction advantageous.
• Knowledge of Sydney construction market and subcontractor base.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end project management from procurement to handover.
• Interface with clients, superintendents, consultants and authorities.
• Back up site managers and oversee subcontractors and suppliers.
• Track budgets, forecast cost to complete, and prepare monthly reports.
• Lead WHS, quality and environmental compliance and review SWMS.
• Manage project documentation, coordination and handover packages.
• Assist estimating with tender reviews and buildability advice.
