Job summary

AMCS Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of small to medium customer projects. You will own scope, schedule, cost and risk, coordinating with the Technical Lead and delivery team to ensure resources are aligned and outcomes meet the agreed standards.

You will communicate with customers and internal teams, track milestones and governance, and drive project closure and financial reporting while maintaining a strong focus on value, margins and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing customer‑facing projects in a professional services or software implementation environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Experience with risk management, RAID logs, and structured governance frameworks.
• Ability to build and maintain project plans, schedules, and governance meetings in line with guidelines.
• Knowledge of estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring project margins.

Responsibilities

• Maintain planned and actual project costs, including change requests, to achieve optimum margin.
• Accurately and consistently maintain time and expense records, invoicing, and forecasting.
• Collaborate with Resource Management and Practice teams to allocate project resources.
• Follow Professional Services best practices for project closure, ensuring financials are accurate and complete, and lead the project closure meeting with the customer.
• Track project costs effectively throughout delivery.
• Create clear project plans, including milestones and RAID logs, and maintain them throughout the project.
• Facilitate estimation for small to medium projects and manage scope to optimise value for customer and business.
• Provide regular status updates to customers and senior stakeholders, and manage overall customer experience on the project.
• Ensure deliverable quality with the Technical Lead and maintain governance and meeting cadence.
