Job summary

Hinchen Recruitment Group is assisting in recruiting a Project Manager for an Australian cement operation in the Southern Highlands. The role focuses on delivering alternative fuels systems, material handling and calciner optimisation within an on-site plant environment.

You will report to the Senior Project Manager - Capital Projects and work with engineering, electrical, construction and operations teams to drive the project from construction through commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering mechanical, process or materials handling systems.
• Contractor coordination within live plant or brownfield environments.
• Strong scheduling, cost control and risk management skills.
• Clear understanding of permits, isolations and construction safety.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Delivering fuel receival, processing and dosing equipment, including conveyors, screening and sorting systems.
• Managing contractor performance, construction sequencing and installation activities.
• Coordinating mechanical, process and electrical interfaces.
• Planning shutdowns and connections to existing plant.
• Managing budgets, schedules, risks and progress reporting.
• Ensuring safe execution and readiness for commissioning and handover.
