RPS, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking a client-side Project Manager to join our Darwin team. You’ll lead government and private sector initiatives in Education or Defence, shaping communities and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project experience in Education or Defence.
• Professional qualifications in project management, architecture, engineering, or construction management.
• Experience with contract administration and working with contractors.
• Strong client and stakeholder management and leadership.
• Proficient with MS Office; MS Project desirable.
• Time management and attention to detail.
• Completion of construction site health and safety training.
• AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager is favourable.
• Australian citizenship or the ability to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.

We're on the lookout for a client-side Project Manager with experience in either the Education or Defence sectors to join our dynamic team in Darwin. At RPS, you won't just manage projects—you'll help shape communities, influence outcomes, and lead critical government and private sector initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of demonstrated recent construction project experience with Education of Defence sector with client project experience desirable.
• Professional qualifications in project management, architectural, engineering, construction management or similar.
• A good understanding and proven experience in managing construction contracts and contract administration, with managing contractor contract experience is highly desirable.
• Good client and stakeholder management, as well as leadership skills.
• Well-developed spoken and reporting/ writing skills with strong competence in computer software including the ability to use the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with Microsoft Project desirable.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Completed construction site health and safety course.
• AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.
• Australian Citizen and able to successfully obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline Security Clearance.
