Job summary

Compas is seeking a Project Manager to lead the business-side delivery of an AI pilot within an Australian Government environment in Canberra. You will oversee governance, ICT delivery and vendor performance while ensuring alignment with Baseline security requirements and government processes.

The role requires strong vendor management, procurement and reporting capabilities, with flexibility for work arrangements and a 12‑month contract (potential extension).

Qualifications

• Demonstrated project or delivery management experience across complex ICT projects.
• ICT experience with infrastructure and/or AI delivery is highly regarded.
• Experience managing procurement, vendor selection, contracts and supplier performance.

Project Manager | AI Pilot

Location: ACT

Work Arrangement: Flexible working arrangements will be considered based on operational requirements

Contract Duration: 12 months, with a possible 6-month extension
