Job summary

Compass Group Australia is seeking an experienced AI Delivery Specialist to lead delivery, governance and adoption of AI initiatives across the business in Brisbane. You will bridge business stakeholders, technical teams, risk and governance, coordinating partners to deliver responsible AI aligned with organisational goals.

Reporting to the Enterprise Data & AI Platforms Manager, you will shape governance frameworks, identify opportunities, manage priorities and drive value through measurable AI

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Technology, Information Systems, Data, AI, Project Management or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing technology, data, digital or AI initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of AI initiatives across the business.
• Establish and maintain processes for AI intake, prioritisation, governance and portfolio management.
• Partner with business leaders to identify high-value AI opportunities and define measurable outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops, steering committees and stakeholder forums to drive decision-making and project momentum.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams, internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Develop governance frameworks that support responsible AI, privacy, cyber security and data management requirements.
• Ensure AI solutions transition successfully into operational support models with clear ownership and service standards.
• Drive adoption, change management and capability uplift across the organisation.
• Monitor initiative performance, benefits realisation and continuous improvement opportunities.

About the Role

Reporting to the Enterprise Data & AI Platforms Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating a growing portfolio of AI initiatives across Compass Group Australia. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, risk and governance functions, and external partners, you'll ensure AI projects are delivered effectively, responsibly and in alignment with organisational objectives.

From identifying opportunities and establishing governance frameworks through to solution delivery, user adoption and ongoing operational support, you'll play a key role in shaping how AI is embedded across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

About You

You are a highly organised delivery professional with a passion for innovation and emerging technologies. You bring a strong understanding of project, program or portfolio management, combined with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the business and translate complex concepts into practical outcomes.

You'll also possess:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Technology, Information Systems, Data, Artificial Intelligence, Project Management or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing technology, data, digital or AI initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and executive communication skills.
• Experience developing governance frameworks, delivery processes and operational models.
• Knowledge of AI technologies and the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Copilot and related services.
• A pragmatic and balanced approach to innovation, governance and business outcomes.

Project Management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or relevant Microsoft AI, governance or change management certifications will be highly regarded.
