Design & Build Recruitment in Perth is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of commercial fitout and refurbishment projects valued between $3m and $30m. Based in our centrally located Perth offices, you’ll work with a full project team and trusted clients to deliver quality outcomes.

You will own projects from planning through to handover, manage budgets, schedules and risk, and drive client and stakeholder relationships.

Competenze

• Proven experience managing head contractor projects valued $3m–$30m.
• Experience delivering commercial fitout and refurbishment projects.
• Construction-related tertiary qualification.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
• Experience using commercial construction software.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Background in Contract Administration is highly regarded for advancing to PM.

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing Perth team, delivering a diverse range of commercial fitout and refurbishment projects valued between $3m and $30m.

With more than 25 years of industry experience, this highly regarded fitout and refurbishment builder has built a strong reputation for delivering quality projects across the commercial office, retail, hospitality and healthcare sectors.

The Role:

As Project Manager, you'll take ownership of projects from planning through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and your internal project team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing project planning, programming, scheduling, budgets and cost control.
• Leading the delivery of fitout and refurbishment projects from commencement through to handover.
• Preparing and managing construction programs.
• Providing strong technical and commercial input throughout the project lifecycle.
• Managing client relationships and ensuring expectations are consistently met.
• Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors and consultants.
• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and project delivery.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong project delivery experience with a collaborative approach and a genuine interest in being part of a good team.

To be considered, you'll ideally have:

• Proven experience managing projects for a head contractor, ideally valued between $3m-$30m.
• Previous experience delivering commercial fitout and refurbishment projects.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction or a related discipline.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills.
• The ability to build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Experience using commercial construction software.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• A background in Contract Administration would be highly regarded, particularly for someone who has developed strong commercial foundations and is looking to step into, or further develop within, a Project Management role.
