Astrum Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of major electrical construction projects in Sydney. You will oversee projects from commencement through handover, coordinating design, engineering, procurement and site delivery.

The role requires a track record in managing $15m+ electrical packages, strong leadership and stakeholder management, and a background in electrical trades or engineering within commercial sectors.

Senior Electrical Project Manager | Major Sydney Projects

Due to continued growth across their NSW Commercial Construction division, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join their Sydney team.

With an established pipeline of major projects, a significant proportion of which are across Western Sydney, this is an opportunity to join a business with the scale, systems and capability to deliver some of Sydney’s larger and more complex electrical projects.

The business has long-standing relationships with some of Australia’s leading Tier 1 builders and a track record spanning major commercial, health, education and infrastructure projects.

The Company

Our client is a well-established national electrical construction business with a strong reputation for delivering major commercial projects across Australia.

The Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of major electrical construction projects from commencement through to handover.

• Leading the end-to-end delivery of major electrical construction projects
• Managing electrical packages typically valued at $15m–$30m
• Working closely with major Tier 1 builders including John Holland, CPB Contractors and other leading construction groups
• Managing project programme, costs, cash flow, variations, procurement and commercial outcomes
• Building strong relationships with clients, builders, subcontractors and key project stakeholders
• Leading project teams and coordinating design, engineering, procurement and site delivery
• Managing project risks and ensuring projects are delivered safely, commercially and to programme
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the NSW Commercial Construction division

About You

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager who has a proven track record delivering large-scale commercial electrical projects.

• 5+ years' experience managing electrical construction projects at Project Manager or Senior Project Manager level
• Proven experience delivering electrical packages valued at $15m+
• Experience working with Tier 1 builders and within major commercial construction environments
• Strong commercial and project management capability, including budgets, programme, variations and client management
• Experience across commercial, health, education or similarly complex projects
• An electrical trade, engineering or technical background is highly regarded
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
