  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, communications or a related field.
  • Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP or Agile/Scrum) is a plus.
  • Three to five years managing projects or work streams, with delivery experience in a financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with wealth management, investment platforms and superannuation.

Responsibilities

  • Support Operating Plan delivery: Manage the Master Calendar and stream trackers as the central source of delivery status.
  • Coordinate working groups: Prepare agendas and materials, follow up items to a decision.
  • Manage risks, issues and dependencies: Identify, log, and escalate to Steering Committee as needed.
  • Support senior stakeholder reporting: Prepare Steering Committee papers and contribute to quarterly Board reporting.
  • Support product and marketing initiatives: Plan and deliver product initiatives, campaigns, go-to-market activity and related communications.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Project Manager to support the delivery of Mason Stevens’ enterprise Operating Plan. In this role, you will coordinate key initiatives, track progress against strategic priorities, identify and help remove delivery obstacles, and work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure successful execution. The role also provides support to the Product and Marketing teams across a range of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Operating Plan delivery: Manage the Master Calendar and stream trackers as the central source of delivery status. Track progress against agreed milestones and dates, and keep plans, actions and dependencies current.
  • Coordinate assigned working groups: Coordinate working groups to progress specific initiatives, preparing the agenda and materials and following up open items through to a decision.
  • Manage risks, issues and dependencies: Identify and record delivery risks, issues and cross-stream dependencies, including contention for the same individuals, and escalation to the Steering Committee with a recommended course of action where they cannot be resolved.
  • Support senior stakeholder reporting: Prepare Steering Committee papers, contribute to quarterly Board reporting, and track progress against the FY2027 OKRs.
  • Support product and marketing initiatives: Work alongside the Product and Marketing teams to help plan and deliver product initiatives, campaigns, go-to-market activity and related communications.
Required Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, communications or a related field.
  • A project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP or Agile/Scrum) is a plus.
  • Three to five years managing projects or work streams, with delivery experience in a financial services environment.
  • Working knowledge of wealth management, investment platforms and superannuation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing materials for an executive audience.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid) and tools such as Asana and Jira.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and usage of AI applications such as Claude and Co-Pilot.
  • Experience in product management or marketing – requirements, business cases, product lifecycle, B2B content or go-to-market execution – is highly desirable.

  • Well organised, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Able to hold competing priorities and adapt as circumstances change.
