Job summary

Prada Group in Australia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of new store openings, renovations and retail development projects across Australia and New Zealand. You will manage projects from initial site survey through to construction, store opening and post-project follow-up, coordinating with global HQ, designers, landlords and contractors.

This hands-on role requires strong budgeting, risk management and a proven track record in premium or luxury retail

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of new store openings, renovations and major retail projects across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Partner closely with headquarters, designers, landlords, consultants and contractors to manage project requirements, resolve issues and ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate the tender process, working with consultants to prepare tender documentation, assess submissions and support contractor appointment.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditure and ensure projects remain commercially aligned with approved budgets.
  • Own project timelines and programmes, proactively managing risks and dependencies to ensure timely store openings and project completion.
  • Oversee construction and site works, attend site meetings and ensure all works are delivered in accordance with agreed plans, specifications and company standards.
  • Coordinate technical aspects of projects, including drawings, design documentation, approvals and submissions.
  • Work with landlords and relevant authorities to ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Ensure projects comply with global design standards, brand guidelines and technical requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure all required reporting and records are completed in line with company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and regional/global teams to ensure projects are aligned, communicated and effectively implemented.
  • Monitor renovation and construction progress, proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact cost, quality or delivery timelines.
  • Oversee maintenance activities across the existing retail stores and corporate offices, ensuring facilities are maintained to a high standard.

We are looking for an experiencedProject Manager to lead the delivery of new store openings, renovations and retail development projects across Australia and New Zealand.

This is a hands-on role responsible for managing projects from initial site survey through to construction, store opening and post-project follow-up. Working closely with our global headquarters, designers, landlords, consultants, contractors and internal teams, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

About You

You will be an experienced project professional with a strong background in retail construction, property, store development or project management, ideally within a premium or luxury environment. You will bring:

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end retail construction or store development projects.
  • Strong project management, budgeting and commercial skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, landlords, consultants and contractors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, technical documentation, design coordination and statutory requirements.
  • Exceptional organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion.
  • The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative and international environment.
  • A strong appreciation for quality, design and brand standards, with a commitment to delivering an exceptional retail environment.
