Job summary

Infraco on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple live construction and maintenance projects. You will build strong client relationships, develop detailed project plans, schedules and budgets, and ensure delivery within scope and time frames.

You will manage in-house labour, subcontractors and suppliers, apply safety and quality standards, read construction drawings, and use our project management software to keep stakeholders informed and projects on track.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated client relationship management and communication.
• Experience with façade and aluminium installation projects preferred.
• Construction knowledge and ability to read drawings and BOM.
• Strong data entry and use of management systems.
• Focus on WH&S and working with tier 1 clientele.

Job description

Infraco is a growing construction and maintenance company requiring a newProject Managerto join adynamic and collaborative team based in the heart of the Sunshine Coast.

We have a multitude of ongoing projects with select clientele. This position will suit a person with strong client management and project management skills.

Duties

Maintain strong relationships with your allocated clients

Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules and budgets.

Conduct thorough cost estimates and analysis for building projects.

Manage In house labour, subcontractors and suppliers.

Comprehensive usage of our project management software.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.

Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise.

Negotiate and procure contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

About you

Excellent proven client relationship management and communication

Experience with specialised façade and architectural aluminium installation projects is highly regarded.

Construction / Building knowledge is essential. Understanding the principles of trade sequences on job sites and materials is important.

Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, bill of materials and client specifications.

Process Driven – Understanding of computer based management systems - High accuracy data entry.

Strong emphasis on WH&S requirements and working with existing tier 1 corporate clientele.

Experience in managing night and day works as required.

Be a skilled negotiator

Experience and focus on working within allocated budgets and time frames.

Strong attention to detail and experience reading and understanding contract documents

Ability to think dynamically and deal with reactive situations to satisfy our client’s needs.

Strong time management skills and ability to work closely in a team.

Tech Savvy - must be versatile with various software programs.

Previous Project Management qualifications preferred but not essential.

Ability to create and manage construction programs
