Job summary

M2P Engineering in the Snowy Mountains region of NSW seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-profile infrastructure upgrade in a hydroelectric environment. You will manage the project lifecycle from planning through execution, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, scope control and quality.

Working with engineers, trades and professionals, you’ll provide clear direction, coordinate resources and engage stakeholders to deliver outcomes of impact.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience managing the delivery of complex construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong project management experience across structural and mechanical scopes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project risk.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Leadership capability to motivate diverse teams and maintain accountability.
  • Ability to work a 2:1 roster in the Snowy Mountains region.

Fixed Task Project

As our Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of a high-profile infrastructure upgrade within a hydroelectric environment.

You will oversee the project lifecycle from planning through to execution, ensuring the work is delivered safely, on time, within scope and to the required quality standards.

Working alongside a skilled team of engineers, tradespeople and project professionals, you’ll provide clear direction, coordinate project resources and collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

This position is based in the Snowy Mountains region of New South Wales and offers FIFO/DIDO flexibility on a 2:1 roster.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Leading and managing all aspects of project delivery from planning through to execution.
  • Providing clear leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Ensuring key milestones are achieved safely, on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Building effective working relationships with clients, stakeholders and delivery partners.
  • Monitoring project performance and addressing issues that may affect successful delivery.
  • Identifying and managing project risks within a complex operating environment.
  • Developing practical solutions to overcome project challenges.
  • Maintaining high standards across safety, quality and project execution.

What you’ll bring

  • Significant experience managing the delivery of complex construction or infrastructure projects.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Previous experience within hydroelectric, water or renewable-energy projects.
  • Experience delivering projects within complex, operational or high-risk environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving project challenges.
