Job summary

• Qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Cost Management or related discipline.
• Healthcare project experience is highly regarded.
• Experience managing budgets, programmes, risks and reporting.
• Strong client and stakeholder management capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Project Manager | Health Projects | Port Macquarie

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading project management consultancy seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team in Port Macquarie.

This role will see you support the delivery of large-scale healthcare projects, working alongside Senior Project Managers and Directors across the complete project lifecycle, including facility planning, design, procurement and construction.

You'll operate as a key interface between the client, consultants, contractors and broader project stakeholders, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the combination of project delivery, stakeholder management and problem solving.

With projects being delivered within complex and potentially live operational environments, you'll need to be comfortable managing competing priorities while keeping programme, budget and project outcomes on track.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will be involved across multiple projects and programmes, with responsibilities include:

About You

We’re looking for a Project Manager with approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally gained within a client-side consultancy or similar project management environment.

You will ideally bring:

• A relevant qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Cost Management or a related technical discipline
• 3-5 years' Project Management experience
• Client-side or consultancy experience highly regarded
• Healthcare project experience highly regarded
• Exposure to brownfield construction, live operational environments and/or mental health facilitiesadvantageous
• Strong client and stakeholder management capability
• Experience managing project budgets, programmes, risks and reporting
• Confidence coordinating consultants and project teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within complex, fast-paced project environments
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery
• Existing Australian working rights ideally
