Chandler Macleod Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major water infrastructure projects from Beresfield, NSW. The role focuses on Sydney Water deliveries, stakeholder management, and delivering projects safely, on time, and commercially. Hybrid work is available with two days per week in the office.

You will coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring QA, documentation, and commercial activities are managed efficiently across the project lifecycle.

Project Manager

Beresfield, NSW | Up to $95/hr Casual | Hybrid Working Available

Our client is a well-established leader in the mechanical services sector, delivering complex projects across water utilities and industrial environments. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Manager to join their Beresfield Service Centre.

This is a hands‑on role that will suit a driven and capable project professional who enjoys taking ownership, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring successful project delivery from initiation through to completion.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Service Centre Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of major water infrastructure projects, with an initial focus on Sydney Water projects while also supporting the delivery of other client works as they are secured.

You will act as the primary point of contact for clients and work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and commercially.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation and document control processes
• Generate, coordinate and track QA documentation
• Support safety compliance and project documentation requirements
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor project costs
• Manage monthly progress claims and supporting substantiation
• Prepare delay notifications and contractual claims where required
• Coordinate subcontractors and monitor performance outcomes
• Ensure supplier compliance and onboarding requirements are met
• Develop and maintain project programmes and schedules
• Support mobilisation planning, including accommodation and logistics arrangements
• Provide contract administration and commercial support
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients
• Collaborate closely with internal operational and technical teams

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Project Manager with a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, drive project outcomes, and take full ownership of project delivery.

You will ideally bring:

• Demonstrated experience in project management within an industrial, mechanical, engineering, or utilities environment
• Strong contract administration and commercial management capabilities
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, reporting, and claims
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• The confidence and capability to work autonomously and take responsibility for project outcomes
• Mechanical industry experience
• Water utilities experience
• Pump industry experience highly regarded
