Duratec is seeking a Senior Project Lead based in Newcastle to lead remediation, façade, building and Defence projects across the Hunter and NSW. You will manage full lifecycle, drive safety, quality, schedule and budget while engaging stakeholders and guiding project teams.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering remediation, building, infrastructure, façade and/or Defence projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with budgeting, forecasting and contract management.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning and mobilisation through to completion.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, variations and performance.
• Lead project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships during delivery.
• Identify and manage project risks and operational challenges.

THE ROLE

Based in Newcastle, this role offers the opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of remediation, façade, building and Defence projects across the Hunter and wider NSW region. Managing the full project lifecycle, you will oversee commercial performance, stakeholder engagement, project teams and site operations to deliver outstanding outcomes that meet safety, quality, budget and schedule objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning and mobilisation through to completion
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, variations and commercial performance
• Lead project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to achieve project objectives
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery
• Identify and manage project risks, opportunities and operational challenges
