Job summary

Duratec based in Newcastle, NSW, is delivering remediation, façade, building and Defence projects across the Hunter and broader NSW region. You will coordinate activities with project managers and site teams to help deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in project coordination or construction delivery, with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline, with 2–3 years' experience in project coordination, project engineering or construction delivery roles
  • Exposure to remediation, building, infrastructure, façade and/or Defence projects
  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Sound commercial understanding of project delivery, budgeting and cost control
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience using project management and reporting systems highly regarded

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities, subcontractors and suppliers across multiple projects
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, reporting and cost tracking
  • Maintain project documentation, contracts and project records
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and variation management
  • Identify project risks and contribute to practical project solutions
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ, quality and company systems

THE ROLE

Based in Newcastle, you will support the successful delivery of remediation, façade, building and Defence projects across the Hunter and broader NSW region. Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you will coordinate project activities, manage stakeholders, and help deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project activities, subcontractors and suppliers across multiple projects
