Job summary

Aquatec Maxcon Pty is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects from conceptual design through construction and commissioning. You will coordinate internal and external teams to deliver on time, on budget, and in line with EHS standards, across wastewater and water treatment projects in Australia.

Responsibilities include scoping, scheduling, risk management, reporting, and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate qualifications in mechanical with multi-faceted projects.
• Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or construction field or equivalent.
• 5 years post graduate experience.
• Proven track record in project management with a leading main contractor.

Job description

As a Project Manager with Aquatec Maxcon, you will lead the delivery of projects from conceptual design through to construction and commissioning. Using well-developed project management skills, you will harness both internal and external teams to deliver on-time and to client expectations, with a key focus on achieving budget control and reporting while meeting EHS standards and requirements. Projects are typically $2 million - $10 million in size and in the areas of wastewater, disinfection, water reuse, process water and drinking water. You will be responsible for developing the scope of works and project programs, managing schedules for all elements of program delivery, ensuring safe and timely delivery of the project, and managing all stakeholders both internal and external.

About you

Graduate qualifications and experience in mechanical with multi-faceted projects

Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or construction field or equivalent

5 years post graduate experience

Proven track record in project management with a leading main contractor

Ideally previous experience working with water treatment projects

Tecchnical working knowledge of structural, mechanical and civil engineering design principles

Strong awareness of commercial and contract matters and knowledge of Australian standard contracts and requirements

Skills in developing and maintaining and working in collaborative high performance teams

Track record of strong communications and stakeholder management skills
